Notes on tenuipalpid mites associated with Quercus pubescens in southern Italy

During a survey of the flat mites (Tenuipalpidae) on forest trees and agricultural crops in five different sites Apulian territories (Southern Italy) 2019, Brevipalpus recki (Livschitz Mitrofanov) Cenopalpus longirostris were collected Quercus pubescens (Willdenow) (Fagaceae). The authors give an account new record C. longirostris, which was not listed previous Italian fauna, finding B. southern Italy, since it only mentioned from northern region country so far. In addition, paper lists Q. as host plant for longirostris.
